Swiss Bosniak politician shooting at icon of Jesus and Mary

An Instagram post by Sanija Ameti (32), co-president of the left-wing movement Operation Libero, has caused a great stir. In the now deleted post, Ameti published two pictures. The first photo showed the politician aiming a gun at a target. The accompanying text read "Take it out". The second picture shows the target, a picture of the Virgin Mary and the baby Jesus, which apparently came from an art catalogue. Around two dozen bullet holes in the picture could be seen.

Muslim Green Party politician Sanija Ameti has uploaded a photo to social media that shows her shooting images of Jesus and Mary.






Sanija Ameti was born in 1992 in what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina into a Muslim-Bosnian family; her father was a professor of biology and politician in the former Yugoslavia. [ 3 ] She came to Switzerland with her parents as a refugee in 1995.

As a Christian I think it's low to destroy other peoples places of worship or disrespect peoples faith. Of course I want them to come to Christ but everyone deserves a basic level of respect.
