The jibes about British looks nearly always come from people with an existing anti-British bias. You can tell because the same people rarely criticise the looks of Irish, Australians, Dutch etc despite those nationalities being the most similar, in many cases almost identical. Methodology
The selection of the top 50 countries with the most attractive people was determined after analyzing the stats for the 1000 most followed people on Instagram.
