Default Is the Alpinid type a semi Mongoloid type?

According to Coon the Saami had developed some proto Mongoloid traits, one could say the same could apply to alpines and their ancestors with more Mongol features like fatty deposits and flatter faces, it is obvious that the Mongol probably originally developed from a Caucasoid ancestor.

More like a quarter Mongoloid type at most. Rarely would you mistake a European Alpine for even the most Caucasoid-shifted Central Asian.

In some cases it seems so, but according to genetic studies, countries where these traits are most abundant are France, Switzerland, etc.
They are one of the purest Caucasoids there are.

That isn't true at all when you have people like Paul Reynaud or a lot of flatter faced French people who do resemble part Asians slightly.

The European phenotypes that look part-Asian at times are usually Baltids and Strandids.

True, though the Strandid is basically just a more robust maybe less med influenced alpine

No. the Alpinid varieties probably developed independently through a process of convergent evolution. There is no Mongoloid race involvement. The Alpine is only a reduced version of the Borreby type in Northern Europe.

Mongoloids probably descend from some Nelson Mandela or Morgan Freeman-like out-of-Africa ancestor, not a primitive Caucasoid. As for the hair texture distance one need look no further than the relatively wavy to strait hair of Australian aboriginals who possess Sub-Saharan facial traits.

I see two main completely different types being classified as Alpinid:
Those with small eyes and those with large eyes.
