Yes, some subtypes of the Eickstedt' system are rather types on their own, whereas others are very close.
F.e. Mediterranid and Alpinoid subtypes are generally very close, while Orientalid and Indid know huge differences in virtually all respects.
Iranid is clearly distinct from Arabid, yet not as extreme as some might think, if considering mainly the pure Arabid types are representative for the latter.
Racially they are pure Europid, genetically they show traces of mixture/tendencies to the Weddoid race, but even that depends on the region, ethnicity and caste/social category in question.
The true intermediate forms are the Indo-Weddoid transitions and the "dark Indoids", the Indomelanids.
Yet like in the case of Arabids, many misconceptions stem from the fact, that a lot of Gracilindids in particular are mixed with Melanid and Weddoid. Pure Gracilindids show no deviating physical traits from the Europid racial standards.
Actually, from a morphological-proportional point of view, they are more Europid than Eastbaltid and Lappid, which deviate, in comparison, towards Mongoloid.
Pure and progressive Europid North Indid phenotypes, Brahmin upper caste type (oftentimes with Iranid, Mediterranoid and Nordoid tendencies by the way):
