Originally Turkic= Mongoloid non-European.
Even modern Turks and Azeris are far from original Turkic people, because Azeris are Turkified Iranics (maybe Bulgarians were Turkified Iranics too) and Turks are mix of many peoples, mostly Indo-European or Semitic.

Azeris are more Mongoloid admixed than Anatolian Turks. Anatolian Turks have very minimal Semitic element, but Azeris have none. As well the Chuvash are more Caucasoid and they are Oghuric Turks, which some speculate that what as original Bulgar sounded like, not to the Oghuz tongues that originate from Turkmenistan and are now spoken in Turkey, Azerbaijan and parts of Moldova.

Bulgars were genetically a mix between ancient Iranic and people from the Urals with significant Turkic admixture. I think they looked like these modern Tatars (who were Kipchakized relatively recent)

Non-sense. Are you saying ancient Bulgarians (from Volga) looked like a Thracian, South Euro derived population? Tajiks and Pashtuns are more modern developments who were not the original Iranians.

Volga Bulgarians looked not much different from Volga Tatars/Chuvash/Bashkirs.








They were essentially Northern European (Ancient Iranian) + minor but significant "Mongoloid" admixture from various sources (Ancient Turks + Urals.)

Modern Volga Tatars or Chuvash have strong russian and ugro-finnic
admixture. I suppose that ancient Bulgars were Pontid, North-Pontid and Turanid.
