Cnut the Great: Half-Slavic/Half-Germanic

What do you think of him? A lot of people don't think highly of Slavs, yet he was a great king. Some of the more "GERMANIC ONLY" guys have never given an opinion on him to me, and I'd like to see everyone's opinion on him.

Didn't put a poll, but I'd like to see more posts anyways.

I think my ancestors didn't mind the slavs that much. I mean Vikings have a rich history in Russia, and one of the greatest viking age kings was a pollack.

Why would you want the opinion from someone who values people solely on their % of "Germanic" anyway?

I don't really care, I just thought it'd be a nice topic. I don't think it'd ever go through on skadi and I'd probably be banned for it, so I figured here was the next best place. I mean, I don't get the hate for the slavs as a whole group. My ancestors sure as fuck didn't care, he was our King.

Back in 2012 there were so many Slavic-related threads and nobody had a problem with them.

Apparently the Anti-Slavic sentiment has been on the rise in period 2012-2019 on this forum.
