If a Jew has origins in Slavic areas then they should be closer to Slavs. So Albert Einstein is closer to Germanics and Volodymyr Zelensky is closer to Slavics. Bulgarians are Slavs and have substantial genetic affinity with Ashkenazim, most on Eurogenes K15 will get Bulgarian in their top 20, German would be nearly unheard of, except for maybe a Dutch Jew.
