    Default Geneology

I find this fascinating, which is why I originally asked for the analysis on the whitenewsnow forum. If it helps, my geneological research has found one thread from an ancestor who was a Norman, coming over with William the Conqueror in 1066, another who was an Angle settling in Kent, and one who was a Norse who settled in York, as well as another thread from Danes in the same region. I once saw a German Nationalist who could have been my twin, though, and have been told by Swedes that I look Swedish. So far as I know, I don't have any ancestry outside of a circle bounded by Bremen in the south and Bergen in the north, until they all met up in England.

There are several more pictures of me on the internet that people can Google image search under my name for if those previously posted are inconclusive.

    Borreby, in my opinion.

    Default Borreby?

I'm not as well read on the different taxonomical classifications as some of you, but I think so, too. My skull isn't quite as long as some Nordics, but overall, it seems to fit the Borreby parameters, and that would fit the Danish model pretty well.

Borreby with Nordid influences, and maybe with some Faelid influences. His overall appearance makes him look pseudo Balto-Cro-Magnon, but I think the Faelid influences, and his more robust variation of Borreby makes it look like that. He is a very interesting specimen if most of his ancestry comes from England, and probably would be a notable canditate to represent an old stock Danish Viking look.

I've tried to trace my geneology back as far as I can in every different direction, and I traced it all back to England, and back from that, to Angle and Jutes who came there from Schelswig-Holstein and southern Denmark in the 5th and 6th centuries AD and to Normans who came to England from Normandy in 1066. Of course, past that you lose the patronymics and have to trace tribe more than familial line, but the Normans were Norse who conquered northern France. I guess, then, three or maybe four different Germanic and Scandinavian layers of conquest mixed together. My hair is dark blonde without sunlight, and my eyes are green, rather than blue, but they shift to blue gray when I'm upset or emotional. I'm 5' 10" barefoot, wide-shouldered, and tend towards being stocky, even chunky. I look forward to reading and learning more about the taxonomical terms.

This all makes sense in light of your ancestry as the Angles and Jutes are from Northern Germany and Denmark, the Normans from Normandy which all are originally Germanic tribes.
