In Europe, does the Pontid race exist beyond the Slavic countries and the Balkans?

I guess what I'm trying to ask is are they found in Central and Western Europe, or are they just an Eastern-Euro subrace???

I have seen people from both Italy and greece classified as atlanto-pontid (meaning they are somewhere along the atlantid-pontid east-west line, and largely implyin they could 'fit' in a larger region).
However if 'pure' pontids can be found in western europe? I don't think so.

In short, yes, you could maybe find pontid in mixed form as far west as eastern germany and north-eastern Italy.

Basically, there is no true difference between Atlantid and Pontid forms, so these two names were used together giving a term of "Atlanto-Pontid" phenotype.
