Can I ask maybe some stupid question. What is the difference between Armenoid and Dinaric? And is my halfbrother more of the Dinaric side, or more to Armenoid? And Im really curious, does he show evidence of mongolid blood? East med?
I'm kinda curious, because one side of the family of him is somewhat lost, and it can be he has some Armenian blood... But I ain't sure, what is sure is that he has Central Asian and East European blood.

Dinarids and Armenids show considerable overlap.

The main difference is that Armenoids are more Middle Eastern in appearance. My impression was that Mtebids, the northern Armenoids of the Caucasus, also have more robust features than European Dinarids.

Some Armenoid variants were influenced by the Iranian Plateau type (Iranid), in particular the Iranian-speaking Ossetes and the southern Armenians are rather mixed.

American anthropologist Coon wrote:

The pigmentation is almost entirely brunet, the pilous development of beard and body abundant, the nose high rooted, convex, and the tip depressed, especially in advanced age. Several anthropologists have written that Iranids have strong morphological parallels to Nordids.

Agrippa arrived at the same conclusion:

Pontid-Dinarid looks, especially frontally, often almost the same like Iranid.

After all, Iranids show similarities to robust Mediterranid and Nordid, just with their typical facial features like the hooked-convex nose, on average more hairy, darker etc. Similar phenotypes can pop up whereever Atlanto-Nordid mixes with Dinarid or even in Dinarid proper - just with the profile shot being obviously different (brachycephalic, planoccipital etc.).

There are more European looking Iranoids, that must be considered.

It might be the Dutch-Frisian, European side of your family's ancestry that gives you and your brother a somewhat Irano-Nordoid look in combination with the Pamirid/Turanid Central Asian and Roma elements.
