Persians are genetically closer to Armenians than to Georgians. But in reality they are close only to Kurds and to a lesser extent, Azeris. Other groups are pretty removed from them.

Assyrians themselves plot comfortably away from mainstream middle Easterns and as a whole look different too. Other than Iraq and Iran Jews, they're closest to Turks and western Armenians the most.
