I haven’t seen many European films besides horror films, so this list will only be horror films. More will be French, because I speak conversational French, so I don’t have to look at the subtitles as much:
- Suspiria (Italy)
- Viy/Вий (Only horror film released in the Soviet Union)
- Them/Ils (France/Romania)
- Eyes Without A Face/Les Yeux sans Visage (France/Italy)
- Diabolique/Les Diaboliques (France)

I've mentioned this one before, but Los Ojos de Julia (Spain, obviously) is one of the best horror movies I've seen.
