Why has my signature image disappeared?

Chances are that it was so big that it distorted the postbit area, and admins deleted it. Or, it contained an embedded YouTube video, which is annoying for other members since it slows down browsing threads for them.

I often wonder why some people use huge signatures, especially youtube videos.
