Voice of Komitas Vardapet, originally recorded in 1912, and performed in Paris France.
Komitas, an ordained Armenian Priest, preserved and composed Armenian Music.
During the Armenian Genocide he was rounded up, imprisoned, and tortured.
At that time, he observed much brutality, slaughter, pillaging, and torture;
so much so, that he suffered Post Traumatic Stress. He survived it, but died in an asylum.
