No, it is not. I look like her and I am not Western European. People always see me as Czech, Polish or Russian (the more easily recognized slavic countries of the past) and now more recently they add Serbian to that list. But of course I can pass as English, Scandinavian and French quite easily.

To clear up her ancestry she is of English, Irish, German and Swiss-German ancestry. She always looked Dutch to me but that makes sense with a mix of British Isles and German ancestry.

She is a distant cousin of mine. Her mother was a Wilkinson, we are both from the line of Lawrence Wilkinson that came to Rhode Island from Durham, England in the late 1600s. He was of the landed gentry and was forced to go to America or face imprisonment as he was on the wrong side of some political issue of the current king. Our bloodlines trace through Lawrence's mother, Mary Conyers to the Plantagenets.
