Default What does Danish sound like to you?

Now, I don't feel entitled to or too good about making this but no one else is giving this language a go, so what's really stopping me?

K! so to those who aren't familiar with it. I just say it's like Norwegian with Down Syndrome spoken with German like stress at times & really fast.

I for one don't like talking slow(trust me, If you knew the shitload of weird faces you made while using this language you'd want to be done with sentences as soon as possible too)

so yes, what do you make of it.

Honestly I think Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish sound very similar but Danish has a slightly more German sound than the others.

I disagree. Danish is as Scandinavian as the other two. It might sound more German due to a harsher tone, but in reality, Danish and German are quite different (even though there are many similarities with German and the Scandinavian languages).

Agreed! I never got the German/Danish comparisons when the similarities aren't that great both culturally & linguistically. they are more Scandinavian than anything else
