English is my native language.

I was raised by my Mom. Her native language is English. I differ from my Mom a little bit because I was raised in NYC. She says "couch" and I say "sofa".

My father's native language is English. I don't know if he speaks any foreign languages.

Both of my Grandmother's native language was English.

Both of my Grandfathers died years before I was born so they had no influence on me.

I was told by my Mom that her father was fluent in English, German, and Latin.

My paternal Grandfather was born and raised in New Jersey to Czechoslovakian parents. I don't know what their language(s) were. My father told me that his Grandparents, who he rarely saw, seemed to speak different languages from each other and communicated with each other in English. He thinks one was Czech and the other Slovak.
