I've never been a "math person", but I remember Calculus being far easier than pre-Calculus and even a little fun at times

I don't find any kind of math easy, but still it was manageable.

It's hard but I got an A when I took it in college.

It obviously depends on the level. Differential geometry, which is a part of calculus, is rather hard, unlike the basic courses, at least for me it was. My problem is that I approach every field of mathematics, as if it was abstract algebra. Generally, in mathematics, one of the important things is to know, when exactly is useful to apply intuition and when it is better to just stick with definitions and theorems for what they actually are, without trying to imagine some particular structures behind them, which is what I tend to do. For example, my friend with a PhD in geometry used to really struggle with things like category theory or universal algebra, stuff I’m generally good at, but unlike me, he is a genius when it comes to fields like topology.

Well in high school I always ended up getting A's in Algebra/College-Algebra class, did pretty bad in Geometry class though but got a Harvard ranking score on my ACTs in the subject oddly enough. Never took Calculus in high school nor college on the other hand.. Nowadays I just find math in general kind of boring, I actually appreciate subjects like philosophy and anthropology way more these days!

Lol actually in College Algebra class back in high school my teacher she had declared me "brilliant" in front of the entire class lol
