Hello,
For as long as I can remember, what we today define as "celts" have utterly fascinated me, despite the fact that I am not one myself. When I came across the concept of the "celtic" (and or morton's or greek) toe, I immediately started asking people (who's ancestry I knew of, or if I knew they had a celtic-related surname) if their second toe is longer than their big toe... and every single person I have asked who has a celtic surname or ancestry has had this trait. (At least in my area) So I would like to expand my search to the internet:
(I know there are celts all over the map, but for the purposes of my question here I would like to refine it to Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.)
If both your parents are from Scotland, Ireland, or Wales, could you let me know if your second toe is longer than your "big" toe? If you are comfortable telling me if which areas your parents are from and what your surname is / mother's maiden name that would be helpful as well. If you aren't a "celt" and you have input relevant to the topic please share.
Thanks for your time and for helping me find out more about this
