Do you download or buy the games you play?

I used to buy pirated games most of the time, especially because it's hard to find English versions of games here (they're all Russian). However, I have since then switched my policy to buying legal English copies from companies that I want to support, like Paradox Entertainment, Spiderweb, Unicorn Games, and generally makers of games that are at least somewhat intellectual. I have largely stopped playing the "AAA" titles which have been growing increasingly idiotic since the early 2000s, but I'd have no qualms about pirating them. (I do play SWTOR though, but mostly for social reasons.)

Well both, if I'm loyal to a good company and/ or artists, I buy from them as a form of respect and support.

For people from 1st world countrys like Canada spending 20 bucks for game is nothing. But ppl from 3rd world countrys should download them ilegally (if they have money for PC)

Games are often so cheap here especially with services like Steam there's no reason not to buy them.
