Do you like the taste of tilapia?

I love seafood and have tried all kinds of fish, and the other day I tried tilapia for the first time and I can say it has an interesting taste.. kind of like catfish but very, for lack of a better term, earthy and muddy tasting (which catfish sometimes has this taste, too).

It is one of the most farm-bred fish and has increased in popularity due to that it is cheap to buy. Do you like its taste?

Yes. Very much so in fact. Whenever i go out to a sea food place i always order some of this. I think the muddy taste adds to the flavor.

Catfish and tilapia are bottom-feeders and eat algae so I think that contributes to the taste.

I don't like the flavor. It's rather dull and has a strange after taste. Maybe it requires a certain marinade or sauce for me to tolerate the flavor.

I love Tilapia, actually I was surprised when I found it on the menu of some restaurant in Vegas (remember Red?). I thought you couldn't find those in the States lol.

Yes, I eat Tilapia pretty often. That and salmon.
