If I'm not wrong, in 83 years, only one single Miss Universe, Amparo Muñoz in 1974. What a record!!



So did anybody follow this pageant at all? Or was it only useful to take the pics of the candidates for anthro forums?

A mix of everything. What you said + little audience + waste of money. In the last years it wasn't even broadcast, it even took place out of Spain.

I completely agree. Besides, I really hated the fact that girls from a province went to represent another. That was very disappointing for those of us who like authenticity.

The point -besides if concious people like more or less beauty contests- is that they are the field of battle against feminazism which shall be gained.

From my part, I use to miss the event at TV but I have a fair interest in contestants and winners and also in the inner corruptions (it's a contest rotten to the core). It's for me a combination of Sociologics and beautiness (relative obviously to the applicants) at least interesting.

Nah. I don't like them, they are utterly banal and pointless and involve lots of wasted money. I hate miss Spain as much as I hate mister Spain and don't see the point of series of fake smiling people competing to see who is more beautiful. What a stupid arrogant way of wasting money.
