I also vaguely remember that thread, now that you mention it. It wasn't a "men should be killed" thread. I was looking at it from a biological point of view. With some future chromosome management techniques it could be possible for a woman to bear a child without having ever been near a man. In a scenario such as this, the male becomes obsolete. It's not something I want or support because we all need each other in the end.

I was never into it. Feminism wasn't all that active in the 90's and feminism we have today, that is something you must run away from before they eat you alive, like octopus sushi. I was a goth and focused on smoking beedies and drinking red wine. I've never had the inclination to try and change the world. I'll watch them do it because of the idiots they make of themselves. I'll sit happily in the shade of a tree eating my sandwiches and coleslaw salad.

Future tech could do the same to women...just use chromosome management techniques and artificial wombs. That doesn't make it a good idea.
