Because Scots have been stuck with it for most of their life?

It doesn't snow that bad here, being an Island. It mainly falls on the higher areas, cairngorms area. Though 2008, 2009 and 2010 had more snow than usual.

Snow's good at first, but then it gets monotonous and tiresome.

Wind and West Coast rain is more our thing.

Dam, I'm going to look like an aquatic Brit here but I actually like the rain. I dislike it when it's cloudy and doesn't do anything, but I actually like it when it rains.

I also like sunny weather, I think I prefer a mix - a few days of sun with a few days of rain to break it up and keep the country green.
It hasn't rained here since the start of spring a few days ago and drought has been declared in a few areas of Eastern England. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole of England went into drought by summer really judging by how dry it's been here in (Western) England.

My, you are quite rare. All our colonial cousins pick on us about our weather, I think most don't know what it's really like though.
I don't know what Europeans think though, I know Germans and Austrians say we don't have a real winter though.

Can remember the caravan holidays Silloth, Blackpool etc.., loved the sound of rain hitting the caravan. As you had fuckall to do.
Rain's good if you have the right clothes for it.

I wouldn't like to live in a place where the weather doesn't change. I like feeling the passing of time with the seasons.

20-25°C sunny with slight breeze. With rain every so often. NO SNOW!

This is my favorite too. Cool, sunny but with clouds and a nice breeze.

And I've learned that I definitely prefer the cold to the extreme heat. A brisk day is nice and refreshing whereas a really sunny and hot day just makes me want to pass out.
