Now America is a hyper-power of the world that can literally choose who the "good" and "bad" guys are and intervine to support and promote its interests. The media will take care of the propaganda. What does the track record say exactly? The wars Israel fought in the 20th century to gain what territory it controls now were defensive wars which they won and attained more land.

Israel gave back Sinai for peace with Egypt and gave the palestinians Gaza for them to self govern.

Israel and USA simply done a deal with the Egyptians, seeing as the Israeli-USA axis of evil combined to grab Sinai off Egypt in the first place.

Gaza isn't "self-governed", how could it possibly be when they have almost no means of running themselves due to Israel controlling all the essential structures?

There were many instances that the two state solution could have been official but the Palestinians kept on persisting on the right to return, which Israel won't do because they would be flooded with hostile arabs.

I could bring in legal jargan and say that the Palestinians have never owned their land after WW1 and was under the mandate of the Europeans. If you are mad about the Israeli presence in the middl eeast you should blame Britain who gave them the land not the jews.

There has never been a time before where one nation has this much influence over everybody on the planet. Your comparisons arn't strogn enough. Even when the British were at the top of their game the continental europeans provided a balance.
