I saw naked Amazonian Indians, I saw Crees from North Canada.
And from Lubumbashi came Deda, a princess from black Africa.
I saw Bantus in our cafe, I saw Zulus on the tram,
I saw Tutsis dancing and jumping and rattling on the tamtam.

I saw Egyptian sailors in the port of Rotterdam.
I saw Portuguese Jews in the shops of Amsterdam.
I saw Incas in Ostend, Chileans on the Bruges' sand.
There was a gypsy orchestra playing, by a people without a homeland.

All the children of mother earth on charango and with gamelan
They shout and sing at our doors: do open, frightened white man

Notice how the YouTube comments mock the lyrics, but still thumb up the song (few views though). Typical Belgian mentality. We still like such song regardless even if we disagree with the premise.

"Castles in the Sky" is a song by Belgian vocal trance act Ian Van Dahl and appearing on their debut album Ace. The single was released in Europe in May 2000, followed by a worldwide release in 2001.

The song was a modest success in mainland Europe, but was a major hit in the United Kingdom, peaking at number three on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the Scottish Singles Chart for two weeks.
