Personally, I prefer reunification of Flanders and Brussels with the Netherlands because the Netherlands doesn't have all that language stuff and could easily make legal arrangements for the French-speakers in Brussels or to see a Wallonia that gets its head out of its collective ass and starts emulating Flanders by becoming a modern market economy. If Brussels were to go with Wallonia as it is with its poverty and corruption, it would be a disaster for them. The problem with Wallonia is that they behave exactly the same as the American blacks do: they vote for the same party, that has been arse raping them for over a century. The second scenario, of course, has my preference: that way Belgium remains intact and actually does something more productive than hopping from failed cabinet to failed cabinet.

Yes you can see it like that but in my case I was more for Brussels and Wallonia being part of France and about their political orientation I have to admit that I'm kind of surprise because PS is indeed a burden for them ( The north seems to be way more conservative and close-minded imo it's kind of paradoxical because they are way richer )

Brussels was never a French city and doesn't belong with them either and has only been French-speaking for just over a hundred years. No. I would rather see Belgium intact and with more Flemish-speakers moving to Brussels. And I don't understand why people still vote for PS. It's basically like putting a pistol in your mouth and pulling the trigger every time you go to the voting booth. Wallonia needs a more right-wing party - something to the right of the softies of MR. It needs to do what Flanders does and if they do that, they will achieve the same.

Actually in the case of Brussels it's understandable because it's full of foreigners even if this year it's ecolo who won there but in the case of Wallonia I have to admit idk why and there isn't also a strong right-wing party for french speakers the great majority of those parties are from the north and wallonia will never vote for such parties who tend to despise them ( In most cases it's implicit ) ===> just take a look at the recent electoral video of the Vlaamse Belang lol

And this is what pisses me off about the Walloons: they have undergone this treatment for the last 50 to 60 years if not more. In fact: it's thanks to the socialists and their ridiculous demands that the whole industrial base went kaput. Are they really so thick up there that they don't learn their lesson ?

Wallonia is clearly in a dead end but trust me when I take a look at what some of them are saying most of them seem to be aware of this but there aren't a lot of alternatives ...I really don't know what is country will become in the next 50 years maybe the only solution is the dissolution of the country with vlaanderen being reunified with The netherlands and the south being attached to france. You will find this maybe curious but even in terms of phenotypes i can sometimes easily recognize vlaams mensens from french speakers : flemish people tend to be more "germanic" or "scandinavian" looking.
