A televised clash between a South Korean kickboxing star and three Japanese comedians was supposed to be a bit of a laugh, but it ended up being anything but for the female fighter.

Known as 'Beautiful Fighter' to her fans, South Korean kickboxing star Lim Su-Jeong went on Japanese TV show 'Flames Sports Competition' to take on the men in what was supposed to be a ‘mock’ fight.

But instead Lim was beaten and seriously injured by the men, with the incident causing outrage in South Korea.

The three comedians were all wearing helmets and protective gear, while Lim wore just gloves.

Toshiaki Kasuga was a former K-1 Fighter. The other two are Karate and Muay Thai fighters who have 3 and 8 years of training.
It just so happens that the smallest of the three comedians is 25kg heavier than she is.

these is are not just three male comedians without any training.
