I think most popular drinking songs in Russia are these two

Surprisingly both are not about drinking, but during parties with alcogol people often sing them.

The first "Oj, moroz, moroz" (Oh, frost, frost) is about a peasant who is returning home from the forest in winter.
The other one's name is "Shumel kamysh" (The cane was rustling) - it's about a young couple making love (but without any physiological details)

This is the song I remember my dad and his friends getting shitfaced and singing at the top of their lungs..

Their version was more obnoxious than this one....but this one is a close approximation:

A modern interpretation of a very traditional Latvian drinking song "Uz leišiem alu dzert" (meaning: to drink beer at Lithuanians :naughty2

    Several from Lithuania:

"A glass is coming over a white table..."

"Oh I would drink beer & mead but I am short of money now..."

"Beer hops were growing next to three hazels..."

"Beer, beer, god will give some more!"
