Armenians gave their blood for that land, they sacrificed more than 5,000 whom perished in battle, plus thousands of civilian lives; yet, I see people complaining about Armenia's Karabakh Stronghold here, as if their people deserve nothing bigger than an Indian Reservation.
Armenian Churches, Cemeteries and Ancient Fortresses are embedded deeply into the land, for centuries, even thousands of years; yet, people say that Armenians aren't allowed to call it their Homeland. Well, I don't want to see Azeri work crews put to work for the destruction of those churches, cemeteries and old fortresses.
Armenians live there now, so stop complaining and try to make peace. Armenia has as strong a case for territorial integrity as does Azerbaijan. But, the case for self determination is a sufficient reason to claim the Karabakh Stronghold for Armenia. Armenians live there, and they've been a majority population there for a very long time.
If Turkey and Azerbaijan don't like that, then they shouldn't complain about those elements among Armenians whom want to claim the former Ottoman Armenian Highlands of present day Eastern Turkey.
I think it's best for Azerbaijan to stop making trouble on the border. Armenians accomplished their objective, and hold defensive positions; trust me, it's the Azeris that repeatedly violate the ceasefire agreements. Just leave Armenia's Karabakh Stronghold in peace, and I'm sure they won't attack Azerbaijan.
