She is a high school student, so if she has a job her parents can still support her, but this will always be marked on her even the future and might in fact reduce her chances at promotion and such in her future career, it was certainly not a wise move to do.

True, but Freedom of Speech has it limits and its not right really it's more of a privilege, she could have made her point across without resorting to sterotypes and defaming, people might have respected her viewpoint even when many will disagree with her.

No, freedom of speech isn't a privelige, it's a right. If freedom of speech was a privelige, it wouldn't be freedom, it'd be permitted speech - which is, in the end, saying what you're supposed to say.
