If by "deserving" you mean a team which played a constant moan and interaction with the referee; play acted; dived and generally played the unsportsmanlike card; then yes, Barcelona "deserved" it....who completely deserved it.
They did play some wonderful football, as did ManU at times, but the loss is bitter through the typical continental foreigners constant inability to play with passion and fairness at all times.
As I said: F**K 'EM!
