I cant say much as far as personalities go and there are different cultural traits depending on which generation I would be referring to
so I'll just stick with the overall, general political atmosphere here
favorite thing- it puts much emphasis on individual liberty and individual rights....
least favorite thing- it doesn't necessarily care for the individual rights or liberties of "others" at times

Worst: Proud to be descendants of criminals, alcoholic, uncultured and ignorant of the world around them, tendency towards mindless racism of new immigrants and occasionally tourists not speaking english.. largely within the poorer half of society, lame use of nationalism and extremely lame news media.
