A lot of Vlachs in N. Macedonia are macedonized in the last 100 years, especially after 1945. One Macedonian guy said to me he know many people of Vlach or partly Vlach origin who are declared Macedonians, and they don't like to mention Vlach roots. He can't understand that behavior, because Vlachs in N. Macedonia are recognized as minority and they have all right including schools ans media on their native language.

Macedonization that's why. In N Macedonia muslims are being Albanized and Christians Macedoninized. It's the circle of life...

If we were to play on language only? Then Northern portion of northern Macedonia, Eastern portion of Northern Macedonia, Western Portion from Iskar River in Bulgaria and Pirin region of Bulgaria are linguistically closer to Serbs than to Macedonians who speak Prilep Dialect and Bulgars who speak dialects west of Iskar.

Culture and Genetics will compound the issue further lol

Anyway, the fear of Serbian unity is the thorn in eyes of many powers, not just some Catholic Croats or Muslim Shqiptars.

Look, if they (Macedonians) feel closer to the sons of some Turk tribe, then all the power to them.
