    Default Obesity map (Europe)

The women map probably outlines what should be considered Eastern Europe (the contiguous block between Estonia and Romania) because women in these cultures often stop taking care of themselves after the marriage.

The men map is a mix of genetics and fast food consumption.

People of BOSNIA have great genetics and diet, only they got under 20% for both men and women

So, in Western Europe, men tend to be fatter than women.
And in Eastern Europe, women tend to be fatter than men.

    Interesting.

This interpretation presupposes that the other ones are slim because they do take care of themselves. Having lived in Sweden where women are comparably slim I can say that the limitation of food input is no notable topic. They seem slim - however, not fat - in a natural way without any conscious behaviour.

Bosnian diet is very heavy and full of fat, but country is still very rural and most people live more natural life
Food is also local. In southern dry region Herzegovina food is less heavy and most people are very tall skinny dinarids.

Even in my own limited lifetime i noticed people visibly getting more fat on average in the country. It's still very rare to see morbidly obese people like in the US but im sure we ll get there once everybody has replaced grandma's cuisine with ubereats.

For every fat whale here in Russia and Eastern Slavic realm you have lots of women who are pretty even after passing the 40th birthday. And I see Russian women generally much more well-groomed and having more taste in clothes than lots of Western European ones. I'm not a fan of Russian women by mentality, but everything else is just fine.

It depends a lot on how much kcal you consume and spend daily, that's all. A person who works in field or a lumberjack does not have snacks from vending machine unlike some nerd from Moscow who spends life at front of PC.

It's not Bosna, but Southern Serbia Few of them are chubby, but powerful chubby, not obese.

When it comes to men, BMI can be deceiving, FFMI is much better indicator. A 1.80 100 kg 20% body fat man is obese according to BMI.

I think the most suffering of obesity populace due to transitional lifestyle of society are Caucasian nations and tribes. Diabetes and obesity is the epidemics there. Georgian and Armenian men often look like hairy pregnant women in their early 30s, with feminine shapes of body, ass and tiddies hanging.
