Wow, you're a Jew so it is somewhat surprising to me but I get that you're not a religious Jews.

Brings to mind the story of when my great grandfather took my Dad out to eat, had some pork and then told him on the car ride back that if he mentioned it to his grandmother they would both be getting their ass whooped.

I will say, one trick not well known (i think) with pork, is that female meat is much less piggy smelling naturally, and also if you catch a male pig and kill it at the wrong time when its in heat it will stink worse. also pig fed on different stuff is a lot different, i ordered acorn fed pig of the famous spanish type i cant remember now and it was much fattier, but the fat was very rich and great tasting.
