Next week Im going to Zagreb, its 4 days conference, any suggestions what to see and do in Zagreb, I've never been there.

I read an article what tourists like in Zagreb -this is Mirogoj cemetery. It says a lot about what kind of city it is, very boring. Interesting is museum of broken relationships, the botanical garden, the upper and lower town. Zagreb is a city with many secret entrances on Upper town, but tourists do not know this because it is not allowed to visit.

I miss Zagreb already :S I had such a great time there, me and my german girl walking at night in the old part of Zagreb watching it from the top and the park in front of train station.The party in History club and in one restaurant in center which was owned by an albanian and which I found out from his name in the receit

And I also love the upper town. New Zagreb neighborhood do not like because it looks like North Korea. But for residents of Zagreb it is the most beautiful place in the world, they do not see how it's ugly. Also, I like to ride on Sljeme, there are benches where you can sit and see the whole city from the hill. Young people like to go there at night.

The thing I like about Zagreb is that it has every advantage of capitol and big city, while it is not too big and dangerous. Plus, it is pretty ethnically homogenous, but lately there are some Arab asilants in one neighbourhood...

I love about Zagreb feeling that this barbie house when you walk through the city.

One of the most important Zagreb monuments of industrial architecture - Zagreb Paromlin. It was built from 1906 – 1908th.

During all the historical, political and ownership changes Paromlin building functioned as an industrial building until the eighties of the 20th century.
