As far as I know, none of my ancestors fought in WWII.

However, some of my maternal ancestors were involved in the Spanish civil war, including my maternal grandpa, who almost got executed by the Nationals (Franco's side), because he was a leftie.

My ancestors were communists and some centrist anti-nazi.

But if i was them definitely for Nazi Germany.
