Here is one even more weird:
From where did the word used for anchor in serbo-croatian came?
In serbo-croatian and in macedonian you tell an anchor : sidro and in slovenian you tell sidra.
Is not found in any other slavic languages and I could not find it in indo-european languages either.

Sidra is a given name meaning "of the stars" or "like a star".The name Sidrah is also an Islamic name, short for Sidrat al-Muntaha, a holy tree at the end of the seventh heaven up

Sidus sideris means a constellation of stars in Latin. From which, the adjective sideral.

The word does not have turkish sonority which could be the only source from where it could have be in south slavic languages.

I commented that rather on what East had mentioned about the name.

Latin sider apparently comes from a proto-IE root *sweid meaning 'bright, to shine'. Still, I don't know if sidro can derive from that.

Here a cognate between old thracian language and serbo-croatian,kept only in serbo-croatian:
    melon - serbo-croatian dinja .
Is cognate with dinupula which means wild pumpkin, but sonority of dinja is clearly thracian.
