Well she's certainly popular, even my cousin and her family who've been living in London for 10 years attended the celebrations.

Yeah, she's surely popular but... The best monarch? I think queen Victoria was far better than her, she got brilliant results in every field... What did Elizabeth do in her 60 years reign?

Worst. Monarch. Ever. Just look at what has transpired to the United Kingdom during her reign. The empire was lost, then the island was swamped by invaders posing as immigrants. Britain was a world power now it is America's bitch. But the Brits still have a knack for ceremony and throwing grand parties to make people forget just how low Britain has sunk during the reign of Elizabeth the Horrible.

The House of Hanover was an elected monarchy, and basically merchants. Sad but oh so true.

The creation of the Bank of England after Cromwell let the Jews back in is what we have to thank for all this, including the Empire, and its inevitable decline.

^^ why don't we just call her only the "queen of England" then. Since that's the way it's been settled.

This one is still a monarchy. Months ago, when king Juan Carlos I of Spain break a bone attending a a Botswana elephant safary, public opinion forced him, almost out of the surgery, to a pathetic casual and childish apologize "I'm too sorry I will never do it again" as if there were something abnormal or wrong in privately attending a safary. From my almost-monarchic stands it was really embarrassing. Elizabeth II commited a similar error on apologizing about Diana's matter, but at least there was a death involved.

Ps. Probably people dont like elephant chase. I have nothing myself against elephants, but if someone knows about a less sustainable animal please let me know.

Ps2. The point is noticing Monarch humilliating himself on fears of losing himself or his descentants the throne for a sum of such futile cause. It was pathetic.
