Default World's Nuclear States Map

Interesting: Germany, Canada, Brazil and Japan are expected to go nuclear within a decade.

It's interesting to see that Germany and Canada could potentially develop them, although I highly doubt they would.
Canada did once have some interest in nuclear weapons but now I think they just depend on being next to America for protection.

Germany shares US nuclear weapons and they're closing nuclear power plants so I don't think there's much interest in them there.

    Default Nuclear Detonation Timeline "1945-1998"

    Nuclear Detonation Timeline "1945-1998"

The 2053 nuclear tests and explosions that took place between 1945 and 1998 are plotted visually and audibly on a world map.

As the video starts out detonations are few and far between. The first three detonations represent the Manhattan Project and the two bombs that ended World War II. After a few representative minutes the USSR and Britain enter the nuclear club and the testing really starts to heat up.

Even though the video does not differentiate between sub-critical "safety" tests and full detonations, you get a good idea of the fever of the nuclear arms race.

The time line does not extent to tests by North Korea (October 2006 and May 2009).

    I pointed this out before.

Check out the current nuclear states on the global penis size map, and you'll notice a trend:

Almost, but France and the UK seem to be average. America, Russia, India and China on the other hand...

Once we are a small independent country, we shall have a good share of the worlds nukes and join the Nuke elite. So don't mess with us.

I don't believe in the proliferation of nuclear weapons in most countries, I think small, surrounded by water and vulnerable countries like Japan,ex. deserve to have them, but in small amounts tho.

Blue: Nuclear Weapons Free Zone by international treaty, including territories that belong to a Nuclear Weapons State that has agreed the territory is subject to a zone. (Do not add unilaterally declared national or subnational zones with no international treaty, until we have a thorough survey of these.)
Red: Nuclear weapons states and territories belonging to them that are not in any NWFZ
Orange: Nuclear sharing (US nuclear arsenal stationed there for host country use in wartime)
Gold: None of the above (but party to the Non Proliferation Treaty(NPT))

You should add also Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey that host U.S. nuclear weapons as part of NATO's nuclear sharing policy, and these countries are allowed to use them in case of atomic war.
