Who is this guy? He obviously is Russian (Karelian?), video, 1. photo (text behind), 2. photo (bad shape buildings, but car has Finland's old numberplate), but in last photo he wears Finland's recruit solder uniform (land forces => that baret) ... in Helsinki Finland.Originally Posted by mutabor

I think he's an immigrant in Finland, if you look at his Youtube and Instagram there is a lot of content from/about Finland.

Yup. I think he is Karelian (who has born & lived childhood in Russia ...speaks good Russian), but has moved to Finland at one point. As a case of ex. Russian citizen...I hope he does not have dual nationality today (he has Finland's as he handled the military service in Finland). Just because Russia don't recognize dual nationality.

It's a very unique look. What is your great aunts ancestry? I'm assuming she belongs to some Uralic minority group from Russia.
She is my maternal great aunt and had a Slovak father and a French mother. The features came from the Slovak side. I haven’t been able to trace them very far to see what kind of admixture my Slovak family had in their native country or how long they had lived there. All of her siblings got Baltid type features and my grandmother married my half Polish grandfather. My mother got East Baltid look overall too.
