Aren't Atlantids Oceanic climate adapted Arabids?

I don't know if "climate adaptation" is very relevant here. This can be said for the major races, but becomes tenuous when it comes to types or subtypes.

But I think so-called Atlantid and Pontid, among other subtypes, are local variations of general Mediterranean-UP mixes.

Atlantids are possibly a link between Meds and PIEs.

You are getting taxonomy and genealogy mixed up. Atlantid is not an ethic group and they will cluster closer with non-atlantids of the same region and ethic group.
