Originally no anthropologist specifically describes what eye shape a standard Atlanto-Med is supposed have. So really it’s a matter of debate whether the prominent eyes are an eastern influence or whether the smaller eyes are a northern influence among Atlanto-Med individuals.

Most of those examples definitely show some subtle northern elements, primarily CM and Nordic. But I’m not sure if an Atlanto-Med simply shares those northern features with those types originally.

Atlanto-Med can sometimes have CM Influence according to Blade, and I think if there is a mix from the north, the eyes have subcutaneous fat covering the upper eyelid, like these two examples I posted and some members of this forum called "Atlantid"

Description of the Atlanto-Med phenotype according to Human Phenotypes:

"Physical Traits:
Light brown skin, straight to curly, usually dark brown hair. (Rather) tall, ecto- to mesomorph, brachy- mesoskelic. Dolichocephalic, mildly hypsicranic with a straight, sometimes depressed and leptorrhine nose. Face coarse and long, deep set eyes, cheekbones often wide. Significant brow ridges, mild prognathy common."

Yeah these two definitely have some non-Mediterranean influences. Which is why I say it’s not fair to say that Atlanto-Meds are “supposed to” have these eyes as a rule.

HumanPhenotypes is not necessarily an accurate source. Because Atlanto-Med is no different than Mediterraneans of Greece/Bulgaria according to anthropological works. HumanPhenotypes just highjacked the term Atlanto-Med and applied it to Iberians exclusively with their own local blends of the Atlanto-Med type. In reality there is no distinction between “Pontid” and Atlanto-Med, but each side has their own local blends instead. Coon and other anthropologists make this clear, and they never specifically describe what the standard Atlanto-Med has for eyes and browridges but rather do this for specific ethnicities with this phenotype. It’s very likely that Iberians have more NW European influences within their blend of Atlanto-Med, and HumanPhenotypes uses that to describe the type inaccurately.

Many examples posted here don't seem to have big eyes if compared to other types of Mediterranid, if they have Nordid influence they would be a mixed type, some call it "Atlantid" like Mario Casas and Louise Roe that I posted, Human Phenotypes says Atlanto-Med is a type of reduced CM Berberid:
