Remarkable example of an Anglo-Saxon. Note the ruddy ears, indication of what I might just call "heavily germanic." The nose is large (though not beakish, another Anglo-Saxon/ germanic trait), and the brow gives a significant impression, though in profile, the protruding brow is not at all visible, you'll notice. The angularity of the eyes in relation to the brow is striking in this individual, also. The "jowl," or the "smile wrinkles" of this person suggest strong "germanic." Finally, this individual's surname is utterly germanic.
Red hair can be a strong indicator of the British Isles in the person's ancestry, particularly "strawberry blonde," which might be rather "Keltic" in nature, but reddish hair is found all over Europe, from Denmark to Italy, from Spain to Germany. I'm not certain, but it's probably found in the Balkans. This individual has such a reddish touch to his hair. Blue eyes are another major indicator of germanic ancestry.
In summary, we have here a very germanic individual.
