Not necessarily, English migrants to Australia came from all over, mostly from the most populous/industrial areas. But Cricket in Australia is still very 'Anglo', compared to the population and to other sports.
Interesting, I have heard ectomorphic types are typical in football, due to the type of play so you get more KNs for example in football, rugby obviously more cm types, particularly amongst the forwards.

Fast bowlers makes sense, I remember Graham Dilley charging in during the 80s, seems to fit a tall athletic type. Batsman maybe more cm sturdier types, David Boon for example.

Yes many of the notable fast bowlers have been like that, Dilley, Frank Tyson, Stuart Broad, Mulally, Larwood, Flintoff....

Allan Lamb was another good example of a typical stout robust batsman that ran on beers, that's less common nowadays.

I remember Mike Tindall tried to beat Boon's Sydney-London drinking record but failed, lol. Totally right about fast bowlers thinking about it.

Stubborn cm batsmen like Lamb, Boon, Alan Border, Mike Gatting etc vs more typically Nordic bowlers. Sprint v Long distance runners I guess share similarish attributes

American YouTuber. Very hardcore Anglo-Saxon type. WASP and Mayflower descendant. Reminds me of Woody Harrelson a bit.
