Why are English Americans darker than English people?

All of those "English-Americans" you posted are new world mutts, English isn't the only ancestry they have. Marlon Brando even has an Italian surname.
What you did is just cherrypicknig by the way. You should do a pigmentation study on each population to be able to compare them properly.

Really??? Like I've argued before, insofar as there is a difference at all it is actually the other way round: I see more blonde and fairish types among White Americans (many but by no means all of English descent) than among the English.

So neither the very blonde, nor the very dark Americans are 100 % English. The cast of Beverly Hills is actually a very good example of mutts- Jewish, Italian, Scandinavian, German, British etc. - you got everything.

Maybe that's because they receive a lot more sunlight, which lightens their hair color. White Australians also seem to be blonder than brits for that reason.
