    Franco Battiato.
Quite popular in Spain... a great singer and musician.
With Morricone, perhaps the greater musicians from Italy. To be proud indeed.

He seems to me more Arabid or with some berid admixture.
Franco Battiato also, in my opinion, is an (ugly) gracile with a dinaric nose.

He is always used as an example of a classic dinarid on every anthropology forum I've been to

If you take away his pigmentation and his general ugliness, I think he is quite a good example.

Mmm to me he looks a bit mixed. Anyway where is he from?
On fora they put also Gigi D'Alessio as typical dinaric while to me he seems a pure alpine.

He is a Serbian from Prijepolje, a town in SouthWestern Serbia. And I agree- Gigi seems like a pure Alpine to me as well.

No indeed he isn't. He is a gracile + berid or some northern African admixture. His bone is not dinaric at all and also his body is too gracile. Dinarics are often robust and I don't think that such curlies are a dinaric trait too.
