What's so difficult for you to understand? CM's were big boned, tall and big skulled. Alpines are reduced => smaller, and shorter (and infantilized).

Compared to Nordids or Pontids, Alpines definitely robust.

Not to Nordids, which have longer bones, and probably more muscles, alpinids having mroe body fat, and hardly to Pontids. Pontids are taller, have longer bones. Alpinids may be of strudier composition, but again its relative. Here you have 16 year old Pontid, who is 190+ cm. (Archduke)

Ok, we just understand the word "robust" differently.

alpinids are known to be mesomorphic and wide. Even if nordids are a couple inches taller on average, they tend to be skinny.

His lower part of face; mouth and slightly slanted eyes seem to suggest it ; but people classified him as Gorid; probably due to his darker pigmentation.
