What is the phenotype of the Indo-Europeans?

Because it is obvious. Ofc both are Indoeuropean and there is no
common phenotyp. Indoeuropeans is a meta ethnicity

There is a very good book about Indoeuropeans but I don`t know

The author is an advocate of the Kurgan hypothesis and claims that
all Indoeuropeans were originally blonde and blue eyed. Later they
adapted to the climate and seperated in different sub ethnicities.

Yup, I forgot this theory. Climate is very important influence on phenotype and other anthro characteristics.

Yes Indo-Europeans/Kurgans were blonde/blue eyed but that is not the case with their R1a paternal ancestors.They acquired those traits through sexual selection.Blonde women were attractive in the eyes of early R1a folks.

I don't think the Kurgans were fully depigmented as a population at all.
